Why are most self-published book not successful?

So it means that the book is selling it’s just that your royalty share is very low, usual share of an author in the book sale if book is sold in AMAZON is 10%
It means that in every 100 dollar sale - you only get $10.00
If your book sale before is like this then it means that you have a good book, That people are actually buying it. It’s just that no matter how much you spend in marketing, it would not be cost effective since you’re only getting a small amount of royalty share.
Those are just one of the many reason why authors are not seeing the success that there book truly deserve.
One great example is one of our newly partnered author, in her previous publishing company, she spent $1500.00 in marketing, her total book sale is $3000.00 but she only received a royalty of 300 US dollars because her share is only 10%.
